My girls new daily

So this is my first post and have only been looking on the forums for a few days but I use toyotanation quite a bit and was referred here for me tercel info. So as the topic says I just got my girlfriend a 1994 tercel a/t with only 135xxx miles on it. It's in mint condition beside needing new struts which I will be ordering next week. I was wanting to get some opinions on parts as far as lowering and intake/exhaust modifications and brands seeing how this is my first tercel. Thanks ahead of time

Thank you! Do people still use this forum regularly? I've noticed all the threads are mainly from a few years ago.

this forum was a lot more active 10 years ago... since tercels and paseos aren't made anymore, and aftermarket parts were scarce even back then, more modification is upgrades and custom work...
life gets in the way, too, & many longtime members have moved on...
there are a lot of lurkers here, and lots of active modders... they just don't post too much... but when they do, it's worth a look...
welcome to the site... nice tercel... u have pics of your camry...?

Yeah I guess I'm alittle late. I'm in my early 20's so I'm just now able to afford parts and really get into the car scene but also it seems the cars I find interesting there isn't a big market for modifying(none for my Camry lol) but I will be starting a budget build thread for this car in a couple weeks so maybe that will catch some people's attention. Also I will take pics of my Camry when I get out of class later:blah::blah:

Nice Tercel. Do yourselves a favor and read up. I see you looking at performance adders so be wise how you spend money. A set of headers on a 3ee will do very little. For not much more money you can buy a 5efe. That engine makes 20 more horsepower than the 3ee out the box. You won't add 20hp to the 3ee unless you boost/spray it. Then you CAN add power to the 5efe. See where I'm going with this?

I definitely see where your going. In that case I'm just going to leave it stock besides suspension and when this 3e blows I'll look into swapping it. I've found plenty of info on swaps for these cars. For now just keep it reliable.

Your tercel is super clean. Those are the b&g springs? That's pretty much I'm going to me trying to get at with this one. What are the specs on those wheels. I love them.

here's a better picture that I took this morning. I installed some new speakers yesterday to give here a little thump :pepper: but I may look into the paseo interior later down the road. The interior in it now is pretty much month besides a stain from my dogs dirty paws lol.

My parent's had a 1991 Camry sedan, dark red metallic, with grey interior. It had the 4cyl, with an automatic.

When they were planning on trading it in, they offered it to me, with my Paseo going in on trade. I declined :hand:

It was ultra-mint condition. Garaged all it's life. I think the Camry had around 60000 miles when they traded it off.
