Daily Demon

so its time that i start a build thread so here goes...
I bought my paseo for $500 back in february from a guy who said it had a blown headgasket because he replaced the radiator and it was still getting real hot and would overheat if you didnt watch it. turns out the real problem was that the T-stat gasket had gone back which i found out by testing the car before buying it, i drove it home only having to stop once to let it cool down and add water. since then i replaced both the belts with brand new replacements i found in the trunk when i got the car home, i have replaced the front speakers (still need to do the rears) replaced the front struts with monroe oespectrums (have new rear struts but havent had a chance after work to do them yet) and today i had to replace the aftermarket shifter since it decided to come apart while i was driving home.

Upgrades:

megan racing short shifter (94-97 corolla)
15"x8" no-name rims
Cruise control delete
Emissions delete (in progress)
Ebay steering wheel
Corolla/MX3 front brake upgrade
new shift boot(awaiting install)
50mm long 19mm Lugnuts
Mishimoto Aluminum Coolant Overflow Tank
1.5" lowering spings on KYB GR-2 struts from MadRPM(awaiting install)

planned upgrades:

anti-lift kit
Whiteline 24mm front swaybar & 20mm rear swaybar
UR 4-point brace
front strut bar
drop springs then coilovers
MR2 rear disc conversion (waiting on parts)
poly mounts throughout car
5e-fte built to ~300whp
C52 Trans w/LSD
Minor engine bay wiring harness tuck
MS3 stand alone
Gauges galore

now on to what everyone really wants to see when looking at a build thread anyways PICTURES!!!!

this is how she looked when i bought it.

Going to get a 5e-fe with lower miles and rebuild it to new. Also need to find a cruise control delete throttle cable and when i do that my cc system will be up for grabs, i found an aftermarket wheel i want in the car but it doesn't have anywhere to put the cc system so that is being removed to help the car on its way into a diet... i don't really know why but i have to put it on a diet because ive done it to all my previous cars.

Looks very nice, LOVE the white. I recently picked up a hardtop 92 Paseo myself. If you buy forged pistons ask the seller to weigh one before you throw out the money. A little more cash might get lighter pistons.

those are the offset bushings for the rear of the front control arm...?
be careful you don't crush/crack them when installing, i did that & ruined mine...
i can send you some 12mm anti-lift plates that you can use instead of the whiteline 10mm... lemme know...
