badass!

17.41 is horrible for that car with that weight! My 1nz Yaris runs 16.3s and it has an easy 400lbs on you.

1nz is a great little motor & i really want to put one into a terkle one day

-Gregory...the exhaust freak & part of the TO.COM (_o_) crew ;)

-97 Whitehawk almost 300k DIS 14lbs 134/174 14.3@95 2.0 60ft. Track day beast. RIP...

yea 17.41 is pretty bad and i didnt find the "real" reason until i took off the really wide hoosiers, they were rubbing on the lower suspension really bad in the back it was like having the e-brake on all the time.
fixed that with some spacers.

Before:

Scion XA 1inch drop springs Front 250lbs rear 200lbs

After: junkyard saturn wheels, the drop springs didnt drop the echo since its so much lighter than the Scion XA but it handles much better.

sorry for not updating in a while,
got the block taken apart and at the machine shop already

having a little fun with the ITBs

Pro tip: shoe boxes and Ice cube trays make it easy to keep the valve train organized

I 3D printed an adapter for the ITB to the stock tercel TPS

prep the hood for paint

primed hood, No sanding has been done yet.

made some bushing out of 75D polyurethane

long time since an update, so here goes. Did a match tour in the echo. I for sure had the slowest car but I wasn't the slowest!

Engine is done

I need to rush as I want to finish the car for an autox event on the first weekend of October to test it, then the GRM challenge is on Oct 23rd.

I live near downtown, but the car is at my dads two hours north.
I autocross with Equipe Rapide Sports Car Club and Gulf Coast Autocrossers.
