the other persons insurance did contact me the day of the accident, and i have responded to them and answered all of their questions. I do not know if they have even looked at the car yet, but im trying to find out.

i wish they would hurry up...

so, the insurance company didn't even come to look at the car until 4/26. a WHOLE MONTH after the accident. they picked it up from the towyard with their tow truck, and took it away, i haven't heard from them yet as far as a value.

I wonder what the point of THAT was....? It's a freakin'
nearly 20 year old Tercel for God's sake... Do they think it might
be salvageable?

What's the insurance company?

When TERCEL4 got nuked, it seemed like in no time I had a check
from State Farm. Lemmie check my notes and get back to you
on that....

Lawyer up!

I've been in several accidents both with and without legal representation.
I can tell you from experience that with a lawyer, insurance companies
seem to get with the program.

Every time I went without a lawyer, I always managed to get the run around.

Good luck, as I know it's a freaking hassle. :crossfingers:
