Loose valve cover nut. Consequences?

I noticed one of my valve cover nuts (circled in red in the picture below) was so loose i could spin it with my little finger. I simply retightened it with a an ordinary wrench so i don't know exactly how much torque i gave it but i didn't go very hard on it. i checked the other nuts, they seemed fine to me (unexperienced). Also, the rubber ring seems quite deformed, is that something i can get at the local parts store?. I don't know how long it's been like this so i wonder if there are consequences like oil loss/contamination or valve cover gasket damage. any advice appreciated.

(Distributorless 5e-fe, if it's worth anything)
:thanx:

Mostly just an oil leak. Yes you can get them at a parts store and your torque specs should be in the FSM (Factory Service Manual) listed in this site's reference section. Those grommet/washers do tend to get quite distorted, especially if used more than once. They usually also come in any major gasket kit.
