Well, I put some freah ATE super blue in there and it was engaging very high.

Now it's more like mid to 3/4 way of the freshly bled pedal distance.

The radiant heat from the DP must be slowly cooking it since the slave cylinder is almost kissing that DP.

I'll come up with a heat shield to stretch my bleeding interval along with better fluid.

Hows the blue beater?

He was a few car lengths ahead of me when he decided to pull. By the time we hit the brakes to get to the exit, I was about 1.5 car lengths behind so it's safe to say I won the battle but lost the war since the man is prob still driving.

Just bumping to point out that the car was running MORE than 25 psi at the time of kaboom....

evident by the boost controller hose disconnected from the turbo compressor in the 6th photo above

how much more? I couldn't hazard a guess :dunno:

^ Like the man said, complete rewiring except a ground, literally.

On a side note, bought pistons, rods and head studs for the 5E. Need another 13T along with a headgasket and I'll be peachy.

Wait no:
-need some braided lines
-regrease some bushings
-install new bushings
-bleed the brakes
-install some braces
-install some heat insulation
-Install some insulation mat under the dash
-need an alignment
-new radiator
-install AC compressor and recharge the damn system
-possibly a stronger coil
-new dampers and springs
-seal the intercooler
-shorten IC piping
*sigh*
-bolt down the subs
-better strut mounts
-install the newly acquired braces
-install the newly acquired diff
-new shift linkage
-install that oil cooler

You guys get the idea.

You'll also need a 11/32 drill bit and 10x1.25mm tap for the head studs :2thumbsup:

I also have a hardly used Paseo radiator, just bought it for my old engine that lasted a dyno day and track run. Its stock but looks great, I'll send it to you for no charge except shipping if you want? I don't think shipping would be more then $20. Just let me know what else you may need from a stock engine, I have fuel rails and some RX7 red top injectors, dont recall if they are from a NA car or Turbo but they held my 313rwhp engine without issue. Plenty of 5E valve covers, extra 5e head that needs rebuilt.

For you or anyone here, just cover the shipping and I'll send it to you, of course you have dibs to start from.

Thanks, Doug
