Only drawback to torrents is the actual video quality. I dl them with my desktop, then stream them through my wireless network to my ps3. I have a
wicked nice tv, expensive hdmi cable, etc, but the blacks always suck on dled movies. So, for movies like 2012 for instance where I really wanted to
be dazzled by special effects, I borrow the actual bluray disc.

Torrents look good on the computers 17" screen but after converting to mpeg they loose a lot of quality. Movie maker won't work with avi though.
I dl'd karate kid as an iso but when burnt it plays out of order.

I thought you might say something like that. I am torn about this, though. As someone who is in the process of getting a book published, I agree with
loki. I wouldn't want someone stealing the fruits of my labor. At the same time, it's just so easy. It's as if they practically hand it to you. The
programs to do it are right on google. I feel bad, but not bad enough to stop. Sorry loki.

Yeah, I know it's all out there and we just sort of accept it. Hell I'm no angel, before I got into it I downloaded all kinds of things, but when you
have a service like Netflix or Steam (for games), that for 9 bloody dollars (+ free trial!) gives you everything you want without having to hunt
around for torrents or what, and people still go out of their way to steal, that's a slap in the face.

Plus, Netflix and Steam (which I need to check out, never heard of it) don't give you viruses. I almost lost my book because of bad sh it dled from
torrent sites. My wife crashes the computer constantly because of it. Frankly, it's worse than porn sites.

We download a lot of movies then buy the good ones. Donna will watch everything included on a dvd. Even boring junk about the people a movie was made
about.

ch131 or surfthechannel
throw a ".com" behind either one. I can't speak for the movie section on either one i always use them for t.v. shows.
ted turner can kiss it after making the statement that flipping channels during commercials is a form of theft.
