My 4efte came in today March 1, 2010. I am now in the process of a tear down for a rebuild. I will post pics as much as I can and what bumps, if any (knock knock), I encounter along the way. So I officially start the Nightshade 4efte Swap.

The wiring harness taken out and plugs labeled

Here I took off the top mount and mounting bracket

Here is the top mount and bolts

Here I took of the intercooler piping

Just some more pictures of the tear down

And again

and this is just a pic i left out...I hacked the shifter in half so now it is a short"er" shifter lol

Very good! Congrats on getting it man. Are you going to use the top mount intercooler? I don't know how you feel about power steering and ac, but just for two less things to worry about, I took them off right away. You can just remove the pulleys belts and all. Good luck!:pepper:

No, I will not be using the top mount intercooler. I will converting it to a front mount system. I have driven my friends tercel without P/S and it is not that hard to drive...and for A/C...I can just roll the windows down lol...I may take them off eventually...I am going to look into that possibility since it will free up some power for the motor.

The dash color in his car is a tanish brown with a few black trim pieces like the radio and cluster trim.

Yes my interior is somewhat of a two-tone tan and brown with black accents on the dash. I can post pics of it when I can. I may repaint them one day, but for now, getting the motor together and running is my priority right now.
