Motor and tranny is in. :thumbup: Electrical is getting plugged up and plumbing done tomorrow. Hope to hear it breathe life by tomorrow night. :crossfingers: Then all the little things, clean up, ect.

Got to get another axle tomorrow/today. Original 93 axle was :censored: canned and apparently the 95 is different because the hub will not spin with it in.

Have to change throttle cable as well tomorrow/today.

Probably plug everything in after that and do all the other little stuff.

4th gen came with 155/80/13 or something like that.

I would try and find a set of AE1xx corolla steelies, they are a 14x5.5 or 14x6 wheel, can take a 185s tire.


Sleeper looks good, but atleast you are making progress! all I've done is bought parts for mine :P

I'm not even bothering with that. If I want to play I will simply go switch wheels that already has the Nitto Drag Radials on them.

Went to plugging in all the sensors and I have a lot of plugs left with no mate.

On the motor itself the only ones I can think that have nothing plugged in to them is TPS, 1 male ending on thermostat housing, and knock sensor.

There is however several plugs ins left on the wiring harness itself with nothing to plug into.:dunno:

Oh well no time for it today, I'm walking out the door to go video @ Clay City.

These are the remaining sensor's and plugs on the harness I can't figure out. Didn't know I was gonna end up using some stuff off the 3ee on the 4efte.

Sensor sticking out the front of the block and this plug in.

The sensor in the front of your block is for the oil pressure or oil temperature... i never remember, but it has something to do with oil!!! :lachen:


The little tab on your T-stat housing is a ground.

Those things remaining in the pictures none of them match one another.

Seriously think they TPS plug in wasn't wired in or something because I've looked high and low and see nothing that plugs in.

I've seen a plug on my Mazda similar to that and it plugged into the sensor to tell if oil level is low.

On mine the TPS plug was on the passenger side of the engine and had to come back over to the TPS.

I think I am interested in where that first plug goes too.

Now in this picture that plug in will fit the sensor that is in the same spot on the 3ee engine.

Ok, the gray plug is for the oil pressure switch - just use the pressure switch from your 3ee and it's a done deal. As for the other switch, that's for the older style 3 pin tps (89-92 4efte). Changing the sensor to the old style or the plug to the new style will solve that. The motor will run with that unplugged without a problem though so, that won't stop you from driving til you get that sorted.:deal:
