I have been working on an adapter plate that will accept the corolla front brakes along with the ford escort rear disc/parking brake calipers. The only hold up is you will need access to at least 180 amp welder to weld on the adapter. Oh yeah and the rear suspension sucks completely anyway. No caster, camber or toe adjustments.

Why use an adapter when all you need is the corolla bracket calipers rotors and a 3mm spacer.

You should look deep into the other threads before posting a bunch of stuff that has already been talked about.

Search button is a great feature that we have.

I wouldn't worry about the caliper brackets made of aluminum, guy i know well does lots of work for Subaru Rally Canada and he makes aluminum caliper brackets (STi brembo conversion applicable) on his cnc machines, i'd trust what ever grade he uses.

we have about 20,000km's on these now with no glitches so I'm no longer worried about the brackets giving us a problem.winters almost here so we'll get to see how they handle snow and ice.

are you sure you won't change you mind? why...is there something wrong with the one i have?

Is there a parts list with numbers , year, make and model? Where to buy these parts if you can't really make them yourself? So far the rotors from a Volkswagen Golf and custom torque brackets? But I always thought that we can bolt on some other Toyota REAR disc brakes and adapt them to the Tercel?

There was another member on here that used the rear disc brake setup from a 1991 Corolla GTS but he is not talking or sharing how it was done
