Here's a prospect throttle body, that would require SOME manifold modification, but since I'm using the 4efe manifold and will be looking to modify it soon(extended plenum) anyways, it'll be a good time to fab up a flange to match the TB. Its from a 1991 V6 Camry.

Left: Camry, Right: 1G 5efe

Throttle cable pulley looks to be very similar.

Throttle Position Sensor, exact same one used on the 3ee.

1G Paseo 50mm.

1991 V6 Camry 55mm.

Noted Differences:

- No idle adjustment screw(vacuum altering). There is only the adjustment screw that adjusts the throttle cable pulley.

- Only 2 of the bolt holes to mount the TB match up. The width between holes match fine, but the length between top and lower hole is far off. Best bet would be a new flange.

- Lastly, this TB does not have an IAC valve--not on-board at least. It is just a matter of capping lines.

I know it may not be worth it, I just figure I share it just in case.

I think that's what Todem76 was saying in the start of this thread...it will fit but the 3ee manifold doesnt cover some of the ports on the right side of the 2nd gen 5e throttle body. You have to plug up some holes on the right side of the 2nd gen 5e throttle body. Some people just RTV the holes closed, but he made this aluminum adapter to have a gasket there to plug up the holes.

Cool Should see if you can do it with phenolic. That is what Doax's TB insulators are made of. I actually used the one my insulator from my 3ee, but bored it out to match the 5efe TB.:bananamac:

I΄m going to upgrade my tb too, but they are a little bit different...

silver 3ee

gold 5e 1 gen

so should I change both pieces from the 3ee (the one with 3 screws and the one with the nut, and replace the gold one on 5efe, cause the cable position is not the same right? I was looking the photos from totem76 and I think He problably did the same thing
