The narrator sounds like the guy from Americas Most wanted.

That is, kinda scary. I know people here keep winter tires, meaning they probably get more than double the number of years out of the tires. Guess I should check my 5 sets of tires.

For people wanting to know how to read the manufacturing year (not wanting to watch the whole video).
- Look on the inner portion of the tire
- There's a bunch of numbers, at the end of em all there will be a box
- The box will have 3 or 4 digits.
-- The first two digits is how many weeks into the year it was made
--- IE 05 = 6th week, 42 = 42nd week
-- The last digit or two, is the year
--- 2 = 1992, 6 = 1996, 03 = 2003, 06 = 2006, etc.

Yea I went to go look at my tires to see if they were new. The ones I just bought for my focus was made in 2007 and my celica tires were made in 06 for 3 of them and the other one was 05. I am glad they aren't 14 years old .

edited to change "are 14 years old." to "aren't 14 years old."

I think that it applies to people who primarily drive suvs and tires not made with silica impregnated. I've had a tire blow out on the starlet and I still was able to drive straight @ 60mph for 2 miles to the next exit.

That had my wife and I looking at my tires.

I just got the set of rims and tires from nitrousgirl. The fronts are 07 and the rears are 05, so I'm good.

My wife's Tercel we aren't even gonna look at because we're certain she needs new tires.

Let's say God wasn't real... but, believing in Him made you a better person, what would you have to lose? Then again, what if God was real and you didn't even bother to look into it, what would you lose then. It shouldn't hurt to look into this whole God thing just to make sure... right?(",)
