Engine Swap - 4agze or 4age 20v or 4e-fte into a 93 tercel 2dr

4agze or 4e-fte or 4age 20v engine swap into a 1993 Tercel 2dr

Anyone have any advise on what engine i should put into my 93 2dr tercel. Which one is easier to install/ are the 20v and the 4agze possible to fit into the tercel. What engine model should i be looking at ie.. ae101 or ae92.... Any other type of engines fit in a tercel? What would be more fun? what other modifications am I looking at having to do to upgrade my base tercel. Any other info/ help would be great. Thanks

Anyone in the Toronto, Canada Area that can do the swap and get me a price?

They can do all the swaps, so can El Prototypes out there California way.

But if you can't make it to either of those shops, may I suggest a 4E-FTE with a custom Made-by-Trevor 3E/4E harness. I suggest the 4E-FTE because it's simple, and any shop can do (although I advise a shop you trust do it).

Any shop could do it, but it'd take ages compared to the time it takes Trevor to do it. Infact, I doubt highly that you'll find a shop to even attempt it.

No, it's not a simple thing to customize. That's why I paid Trevor to make me a 4E/5E harness.

Trevor's harness and the fact that engine is a drop in makes the 4E-FTE the easy and simple engine swap.

if you're after power...get the 4AGZE unbolt the supercharger..get some forged pistons (rods are semi-forged) and turbocharge it..you WILL not be disappointed.

That being said..the 4EFTE swap is quite simple and is also a worthy upgrade :)
